I like tall awkward skinny pale boys with dark hair and long bony fingers. Boys that have maybe one too many problems and think that Bela Lugosi’s Dead by Bauhaus it the ultimate, the big bang of goth rock. Boys who wear plaid shirts and v-necks like they could care less. Boys with Vans and pouty lips and freckles in cute places like the corner of the eye or behind the ear or in the hollow of the collar bone. Boys with smiles that lift up the sky and you don’t have to work to see those smiles. Boys who like to play tag in the Botanical Gardens or to sit with you and stare at the eels in the eel tunnel at the aquarium. Boys who steal you away to the cave in the museum where you will push all the buttons and learn the anatomy of a cave. Boys who like to take pictures of you and take naps with you and wrestle with you. Boys who blush when they kiss you or say ‘I love you’. Those kinds of boys.
